Sample data only. X Ads account discovery only. No campaign charts or organic post analytics are available. Source currency is not guaranteed by account discovery and is shown as unavailable when absent. Actual layout and results depend on available features, permissions and saved data.

Twitter (X) reporting in your workspace

Authorize the X login that can access your advertising accounts. The connection discovers account names, IDs and timezones and saves their details in the workspace. This is an advertising account connection, separate from organic posts, audiences and private messages.

What you can report on

  • X Ads OAuth 1.0a authorization through the approved application.
  • Advertising account discovery in Connections and Ad accounts.
  • Refresh the account list, reconnect the same login and disconnect individual grants.

Before you begin

  • An X login with access to the intended advertising accounts.
  • Connect X Ads permission in your workspace.
  • Operator-configured API Key and API Secret for an application approved for the required Ads API access.

How to connect Twitter (X)

  1. Choose X Ads in Connections

Sign in to the intended workspace and open Connections → X Ads (Twitter).

  2. Prepare authorization

Optionally name the connection and choose Connect X Ads. The worker prepares a temporary authorization request; this does not connect an account yet.

  3. Continue to X

When the page shows Continue to X, open it in the same browser. Review the application permissions and authorize the intended X login.

  4. Review discovered accounts

After the callback and worker discovery complete, review the accounts in Connections or Ad accounts. Refresh accounts when access changes or reconnect if source authorization is revoked.

Availability and reporting limits

Account discovery only: campaign metrics and performance synchronization are not enabled. Organic post analytics, follower imports, messages and publishing are not provided. A missing source currency is displayed as unavailable. X Ads API approval and source account roles remain required.

The Connect link opens the authenticated app. Sign in and choose the intended workspace; provider setup, permissions and plan capacity still apply.

Twitter (X) integration FAQs

Why is Connect X Ads disabled?

The operator must configure an Ads API-approved application, its API Key and API Secret. A general X API account or a local approval flag does not itself grant Ads API access.

Why is there a separate Continue to X step?

OAuth 1.0a needs a temporary request token before provider consent. The worker prepares it and the app keeps the resulting authorization bound to your browser session and workspace.
