Email reporting in your workspace
Share reporting updates through a mail server your organization controls. Email Settings lets you configure the SMTP sender, manage recipients and prepare schedules based on saved advertising data. Connection testing, test emails, manual reports and background delivery are distinct actions with their own controls.
What you can report on
- SMTP sender setup and connection verification.
- Saved recipients, report templates and recurring reporting schedules.
- Manual report requests and delivery history with safe error information.
Before you begin
- An SMTP service with the correct host, port, sender and credentials.
- Workspace permission to manage email settings and authorized report recipients.
- Saved reporting coverage and a working background email worker.
How to connect Email
Open Email Settings
Go to Settings → Email Settings & Report Automation in your workspace.
Save the SMTP connection
Enter the server and sender fields, then save SMTP settings. Use the encryption mode and port required by your mail service.
Verify and review recipients
Run the connection test, which sends no message. Save a test recipient before intentionally sending a test email, then configure the recipients for your report schedule.
Configure report delivery
Save your reporting filters and schedule. Enable background sending if recurring delivery is wanted, or explicitly use Send report now for a manual request.
Availability and reporting limits
The app sends configured reports; it does not import inboxes or provide email marketing open/click analytics. SMTP acceptance is not a guarantee of inbox placement or delivery.
The Connect link opens the authenticated app. Sign in and choose the intended workspace; provider setup, permissions and plan capacity still apply.
Email integration FAQs
Does saving SMTP settings enable scheduled sending?
No. SMTP configuration and the background sending preference are separate saved controls.
Can a connection test send a message?
The SMTP connection test verifies the connection without sending mail. Send test email and Send report now are explicit message-sending actions.
