Microsoft reporting in your workspace
Authorize your Microsoft Advertising login to discover the advertising accounts you can access. Review their names, account IDs, currencies and Microsoft timezone names in the workspace. This connector currently provides account discovery; campaign reporting synchronization is not enabled.
What you can report on
- Microsoft Advertising OAuth with account discovery.
- Connected account details in Connections and Ad accounts.
- Refresh accounts, reconnect the original login and disconnect individual connections.
Before you begin
- A Microsoft login with access to the intended advertising accounts.
- Connect Microsoft Ads permission in the workspace.
- An operator-configured Microsoft application, Client Secret and Advertising Developer Token.
How to connect Microsoft
Open Microsoft Ads in Connections
Sign in to the intended workspace and choose Connections → Microsoft Ads.
Check application setup
If Setup required is shown, the operator must configure the Microsoft application and Developer Token, with the registered callback URL.
Authorize the intended login
Optionally name the connection, choose Connect Microsoft Ads and review the Microsoft consent screen. For limited provider access, use a Viewer-role advertising login.
Review discovered accounts
After the worker finishes discovery, review the saved accounts in Connections or Ad accounts. Refresh accounts when source access changes; reconnect if authorization expires.
Availability and reporting limits
This app reads account details only. Microsoft requests the broader msads.manage consent scope; source account roles still govern access. Campaign metrics, spend charts and performance synchronization are not enabled. Microsoft timezone names are retained as supplied by the provider.
The Connect link opens the authenticated app. Sign in and choose the intended workspace; provider setup, permissions and plan capacity still apply.
Microsoft integration FAQs
Why is Connect Microsoft Ads disabled?
The operator must configure the Client ID, Client Secret and Advertising Developer Token. Your workspace permission and account access must also allow the connection.
Will connected Microsoft accounts show campaign metrics?
Not yet. The implemented connector discovers accounts and displays their details. Campaign reporting requires a separate reporting adapter.
