Apple reporting in your workspace

Use the Apple Ads API user credentials for your organization to discover accessible App Store advertising accounts. This connector uses Apple’s current Ads Platform API and lists verified accounts in Ad accounts. Credentials are encrypted on the server, and discovery runs in the existing worker. Campaign performance reporting is not enabled.

What you can report on

  • Discover accessible App Store advertising accounts with exact account IDs, currencies and timezones.
  • Review connected accounts in Ad accounts with an Apple Search Ads filter.
  • Refresh inventory, renew access through the saved API credentials, update credentials for the same API user, or disconnect a connection.

Before you begin

  • An Apple Ads API user with access to the intended organization and App Store ad accounts; prefer API Read Only access.
  • The user’s registered Client ID, Team ID and Key ID, plus the matching P-256 private key whose public key is uploaded in Apple Ads.
  • Connect Apple Search Ads permission, configured application sign-in/encrypted credential storage, and the running sync worker.

How to connect Apple

  1. Prepare the API user

In Apple Ads, arrange read-only API access to the intended organization and accounts.

  2. Register the public key with Apple

Generate a P-256 key pair and upload the public key under Account Settings → API. Keep the matching private key secure and record Apple’s Client ID, Team ID and Key ID.

  3. Connect in adslink.io

Open Connections → Apple Search Ads and enter the API credentials in the secure connection form. Optionally name the connection and choose Connect Apple Search Ads.

  4. Review discovered accounts

After verification completes, open Ad accounts and select Apple. Use Refresh accounts when access changes or Reconnect to update credentials for the same API user and organization.

Availability and reporting limits

Account discovery only. Apple campaign reporting sync, App Store sales/financial reports and Apple Maps accounts are not enabled. Apple’s searchadsorg scope follows the API user’s assigned roles; the application only calls account-reading endpoints. No campaign or budget changes are made.

The Connect link opens the authenticated app. Sign in and choose the intended workspace; provider setup, permissions and plan capacity still apply.

Apple integration FAQs

Does this use Sign in with Apple?

No. Advertising access uses Apple Ads API credentials and a signed client secret. Your app login and Apple advertising access remain separate.

Where do my connected accounts appear?

Verified App Store advertising accounts appear in Ad accounts with the Apple Search Ads filter, including their exact IDs, currencies and timezones.

How does access renewal work?

The worker obtains a new short-lived access token using the encrypted API credentials when needed. Reconnect after the API key or access changes. Disconnect removes the locally retained credentials; provider-side revocation is managed in Apple Ads.
